Women in Wyoming Book Club: "Cowboys and East Indians" by Nina McConigley

Women in Wyoming Book Club: "Cowboys and East Indians" by Nina McConigley

The Library, in partnership with the Nicolaysen Art Museum, introduces a special book club event inspired by the "Women in Wyoming" exhibit. This collaboration seeks to honor the resilience, strength, and stories of Wyoming's women through a unique blend of literature and art.

The selection, "Cowboys and East Indians" by Nina McConigley, offers a profound exploration of cultural intersections and personal narratives within Wyoming's rich and varied landscapes. We invite you to join us at the Nicolaysen Art Museum on Thursday, April 18th, 2024, at 6:00 PM for an evening of thoughtful discussion, insights from author Nina McConigley, and an immersive experience of the accompanying art exhibit.

Participants can pick up a complimentary copy of the book at the Natrona County Library, available on a first-come, first-served basis.

To learn more, please reach out to us at 307-237-4935 or reference@natronacountylibrary.org. We look forward to a meaningful evening of conversation, reflection, and appreciation for the stories that shape us.

Join us in this celebration of storytelling, art, and the enduring spirit of the women of Wyoming.
