Afterschool @ the Library: Halloween Silhouette Art

Afterschool @ the Library: Halloween Silhouette Art

Get creative with color and shape at this week’s Afterschool @ the Library! Students in grades K–6 are invited to the Crawford Room on Wednesday, October 22nd at 4 PM to design their own Halloween Silhouette Art.

Kids will choose spooky shapes to feature in silhouette—think bats, pumpkins, witches, or black cats—and place them against bold Halloween backgrounds. The result? Striking artwork where the shadowy shapes take center stage.

Along the way, we’ll talk about the colors of Halloween: orange for pumpkins, black for mystery, green and purple for eerie fun, and even a touch of red for dramatic flair. It’s a perfect blend of art, creativity, and seasonal learning!

All supplies are provided at no cost. For more information, call 577.7323 or visit our website.
