Afterschool @ the Library: No Sew Heart Pillow
Students in grades K-6 are invited to join us for Afterschool @ the Library on Wednesday, February 11 at 4 PM in the Crawford Room for a Valentine-themed craft program.
At this session, kids will create No Sew Heart Pillows using felt fabric or polar fleece and stuffing. Participants will layer their fabric, cut out a large heart shape, and then draw a smaller heart inside, leaving space between the edges. They’ll cut strips around the border and tie them together to form the pillow, filling it with stuffing as they go. No sewing experience is needed, making this a fun and accessible hands-on project.
All supplies will be provided at no cost. This craft does take time to complete, so be sure to arrive on time to allow plenty of time to finish your pillow.
