Afterschool @ the Library: Tissue Paper Art
Students in grades K–6 are invited to join us in the Crawford Room on May 6 at 4 PM for Afterschool @ the Library: Tissue Paper Art. Using water, cardstock, white oil pastels, and colorful tissue paper, kids will create beautiful one-of-a-kind designs as the colors blend and transfer onto the page like magic.
This easy art activity is perfect for experimenting with color, creativity, and texture, and every piece comes out completely unique. Along the way they'll learn how water and tissue paper alone can create a unique pattern on the cardstock, and how white pastels work to make designs before they've even colored the page.
All materials are provided, and no preparation is needed.
