Living Room Conversations: Environment and Pollution

Living Room Conversations: Environment and Pollution

What happens when we sit down together to talk—not to debate, but to understand? Join us for a unique Living Room Conversation on Environment and Pollution on Tuesday, October 21 at 6:30 PM at Scarlow’s Art & Coffee.

In partnership with Wyoming Humanities, Scarlow’s Art & Coffee, and Natrona County Library, this community conversation will explore how environmental issues and pollution affect our health, neighborhoods, and future. What are the biggest challenges we face locally and globally? What personal and collective actions can we take? This is a chance to reflect on our values, listen to different perspectives, and share meaningful dialogue about one of the most pressing issues of our time.

Facilitated by Cara Rodriguez and Julia Whyde from Casper College, this small-group discussion will follow the Living Room Conversations format—a nationally recognized model designed to foster curiosity, connection, and respectful dialogue. Participants will have the opportunity to share personal stories, learn from others, and consider new ways of thinking about environmental stewardship.

This free event is open to the public. Space is limited – register to attend. Light refreshments and small bites will be served.
