Things You Wish They Taught in School: Health Insurance & "Understanding Medicaid"

Things You Wish They Taught in School: Health Insurance & "Understanding Medicaid" Online

Do you remember learning the pythagorean theorem in school? What about managing your credit score? School prepared us for plenty of important skills and milestones in life but they might've missed a thing or two.Things like; how to budget, where to get health insurance, what you need to buy a house, etc. Things You Wish They Taught In School is a presentation series—in  partnership with local community organizations and businesses—to help fill some of those gaps.

This month, we will have experts from the health insurance field help us learn more about getting the right—and best!—assistance for medical expenses. Join us for the second of the three health insurance presentations on March 23rd to hear "Understanding Medicaid." A team from Wyoming Medicaid will be going over what their group does to help give Wyoming residents assistance. Come learn about Medicaid 101, Medicare Savings Programs, Long Term Care, and more.

These will be virtual meetings via Zoom at this link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/87598954401

Register to get an email reminder about the event and for updates about these presentations.

Each month we will cover a different topic, led by experts in that field, to help answer some of your questions. Keep checking our website and Facebook page to learn more about this series and to find out what topic we will be covering each month.
