Tween Book Club: "Pax" by Sara Pennypacker

Tween Book Club: "Pax" by Sara Pennypacker

Join us for an exciting session of our Tween Book Club on Monday, May 20th at 4 PM, designed especially for students in grades 4-6. This month, we're diving into "Pax" by Sara Pennypacker, a heartwarming tale of friendship, adventure, and the powerful bonds between a boy and his fox.

During our meeting, we'll explore the themes of loyalty and the impact of war, both of which are central to this beautifully told story, followed by a craft project inspired by the book. This is a perfect opportunity for young readers to discuss their thoughts, engage with their peers, and enhance their understanding and appreciation of the narrative.

The session will be held in the Crawford Room, providing a cozy environment for our young readers to discuss and connect over great books. Stop by the Children's Department to pick up a free copy of this month's book while supplies last. Call 577-7323 for more information.
